UPSSSC Intermediate Level Mains Recruitment 2026-27: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has come out with Advertisement No. 26-Exam/2026 for the Combined Subordinate Services (Intermediate Level) Mains Exam (PET-2025)/26. There are 1784 vacancies in 12 posts under different UP departments such as Gram Panchayat Adhikari, Gram Vikas Adhikari, Samaj Kalyan Paryavekshak and Commercial Tax Collection Amin. - There will be total of 1784 vacancies are there in 12 posts. Here Gram Vikas Adhikari (Samaj Kalyan) has the highest, 525 posts, and Gram Panchayat Adhikari is next with 508 posts so choose whichever suites you.
- 12th pass (Intermediate from UP Board or equal) is the basic qualification needed and for some posts you may also need a CCC certificate or work experience so keep them handy.
- Only PET 2025 appeared candidates with a valid scorecard can apply therefore keep you scorecard ready for verification. PET normalised score decides who gets called for the Mains.
- Age limit is 18-40 years as on 1 July 2026 for most posts. Farm Lipik is different so it has limit of 21 to 30 years.
- Mains has 100 questions in 2 hours, and 1/4 mark is cut for each wrong answer so we advice to only ans which you know so that you dont mess in the exam and lower your grades so do it in relaxed manner.
- Fee is only Rs. 25 for every one.

- For most posts, preference is given to candidates who served 2 years in the Territorial Army or have the NCC ‘B’ certificate.

| 1. PET 2025 Score | You must have appeared in PET 2025 and have its scorecard. Your normalised PET score is used for shortlisting. |
| 2. Shortlisting | Candidates equal to 15 times the vacancies of each category are shortlisted for Mains, including everyone who has the same score as the last cutoff. Zero or negative PET score candidates will not be shortlisted. |
| 3. Mains Written Exam | Objective type paper of 100 marks. This is the base of final selection. |
| 4. Document Verification | Original certificates and post preference are taken at this stage. Allotment is done on merit, preference, vacancy, qualification and age. |

- Go to the official website link below and open this advertisement from the Live Advertisement section.
- Login with your PET 2025 registration number.
- Fill you ditails.
- Select the posts you want to apply for.
- Choose Yes or No for your qualification, then enter your qualification details.
- Enter the verification code, click Submit and then complete the declaration part carefully.
- Pay the Rs. 25 fee.
- Download your application form and keep a printout. If the form does not show after payment, use “Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification”.

- After final submission you can edit your form till 8 December 2026. Login with PET registration number, click Modify Application and enter OTP.
- Details can be changed: correspondence address, EWS and horizontal reservation details, qualification details and marital status.
- No correction will be done after the last date.

UPSSSC Intermediate Level Mains 2026 | Important Instructions
- We advice all the candidates to read the official notification once before applying.
- Only one application should be made per candidate. If you submit more than once, the last submitted application is accepted and all others are cancelled so fill only one application so that you dont get in the mess.
- Reservation benefit is only for the original residents of Uttar Pradesh. Others will be treated as General category, therefore its more beneficial for UP original residents.
- If more than one reserved category applies to you, you will only get the benefit of one, whichever is suites you the best will be applied.
- Candidates working in Central or State Government must get an NOC and need to be shown when asked by the Commission if you have NOC or not.
- For Ex-servicemen they should be retired on or before 1 December 2026 to claim the benefit.
- NOTE: Male candidates with more than one living wife, or female candidates married to such a person, are not eligible unless the Governor gives relaxation.
- Eligibility is provisional. If wrong information is found at any stage, candidature will be cancelled and you may be debarred from all UPSSSC exams so dont provide any false information, only give the right information.
- Exam centre, date and time cannot be changed, so do not send any unnecessary letters to the Commission.
- Unfair means in the exam can lead to cancellation and debarment, and the UP Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act 2024 will apply thats why study hard and dont try to cheat.
