Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Rojgar Saathi (www.rojgarsaathi.com) publishes the latest private and government job openings, admit cards, results, and related notifications for job seekers across India. This page explains what we collect when you visit, why, and what say you have over it.

What we collect

Most of what we collect happens automatically and isn’t tied to who you are personally. Like any website, our servers log basic technical details when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, which pages you looked at, and roughly how long you stayed. We also use cookies to keep the site working the way it should, to understand which job categories people actually use through analytics, and, if advertising is running on the site, to show ads that are somewhat relevant instead of completely random. None of that requires knowing your name.

If you ever sign up for job alerts, message us on WhatsApp or Telegram, or fill out a contact form, that’s different. We’ll have whatever you actually gave us, usually a name, an email or phone number, and whatever you wrote. We don’t ask for more than that specific thing needs, and we’re not in the business of collecting things like financial details, medical information, or biometric data. If an actual job application asks for something like that, it’s happening on the recruiter’s or government department’s own site once you’ve clicked through, not on ours.

What we do with it

Mostly this comes down to running the site properly: figuring out which categories and states get the most traffic so we know what to prioritize, sending you alerts if you asked for them, answering messages, and keeping an eye on overall traffic through analytics. If ads are enabled, a third-party network like Google AdSense handles the actual ad serving, and their own cookies are what decide what you see. We don’t sell anyone’s information, there’s no real business reason we’d want to.

Leaving the site to apply

Every “View details” or “Apply” link eventually takes you to the recruiter’s, company’s, or government department’s own page. Once you’re there, their privacy policy is the one that matters, not this one. Worth a glance before you submit anything.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you a few concrete rights over anything we hold on you: you can ask what we have, ask us to fix it if it’s wrong, ask us to delete it once it’s no longer needed for whatever it was collected for, withdraw consent for anything that was based on consent (job alerts, for instance), and raise a complaint if you think we’ve handled it badly. Email us at support@rojgarsaathi.com and we’ll deal with it, no form you have to hunt for.

Keeping it secure

We restrict who can access stored data and rely on standard security practices from our hosting and database providers. No one can honestly promise a website is 100% unbreachable, and we won’t pretend otherwise, but that’s not an excuse to be careless, and we don’t treat it as one.

Grievance Officer

As required under Indian law, here’s who to contact if something’s gone wrong with how your information was handled:

Grievance Officer, Rojgar Saathi

Changes

If this policy changes, whether because the site changes or the law does, the date at the top will move. Using the site after that means you’re fine with the update.
