Image Compressor: Use this free tool to make a JPG, PNG or WebP photo smaller in KB. Many job forms, e-mail and WhatsApp do not accept heavy photos, so this helps when your file is too big. Your photo is safe, nothing is saved on our website. To get new Job Notifications first, join our Instagram, WhatsApp and YouTube.
Image Compressor | Why Use This Tool
- You can add many images at once and download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.
- Choose a quality level, or type the size you want in KB and the tool will try to keep the file under it.
- JPG and WebP shrink the most. A PNG kept as PNG shrinks only a little, so choose JPG or WebP if you want a big saving.
- If the new file comes out bigger than your original, we keep the original so you never get a worse file.
- It is free. No login, no watermark.
Image Compressor | How To Use
- Tap the box and select your image, or drag it into the box.
- Pick the quality. Around 70 is fine for most photos. Or write the size you want, like 100, in the Target size box.
- Press the Compress image button.
- Check the new size under the image and press Download.
Image Compressor | Before You Start
- Very low quality makes the picture blurry. Look at the image once before you send it anywhere.
- If you ask for a very small size, the image can lose detail. Raise the target a little if it looks bad.
- For exam form photo and signature, use the Photo Resizer for Exam Form or the Signature Resizer for Exam Form, because they also set the exact width and height.
- Keep your original photo with you. Compressing the same photo again and again lowers the quality each time.
- A big photo from a new phone camera can take a few seconds on an old phone. Please wait for the message.

Image Compressor | Common Questions
| Question: Is this image compressor free? Answer: Yes. There is no payment, no login and no watermark on your image. |
| Question: Is my photo saved on your website? Answer: No. Your photo is not saved anywhere on our website. When you close the page, it is gone. |
| Question: How can I reduce a photo to 50 KB? Answer: Add the photo, type 50 in the Target size box and press Compress image. If it is still above 50 KB, also write a smaller number like 1000 in the Longest side box. |
| Question: Which format gives the smallest file? Answer: WebP and JPG are usually the smallest. PNG is good only for logos and screenshots with flat colours. |
| Question: Why did the size not change much? Answer: The image may already be compressed. A PNG that is kept as PNG also shrinks very little. Try saving it as JPG or WebP. |
