- Total 83 vacancies are there. 12 are in Administrative posts, 30 for Technical Assistant and 41 for Technician ‘B’. Its a good chance if you want a Central Govt. job in the semiconductor field.
- Experience is needed for all posts except Junior Personal Assistant, so freshers cannot apply for the other posts. Keep your experience certificates ready.

- Go to the official website link given below, scl.gov.in/career.html, and open the advertisement SCL:DR:01/2026.
- Read the full notification once
- Register with your name, DOB, email ID and mobile number.
- Choose your post and fill your details carefully. Name, date of birth, father name and mother name should be same as your matriculation certificate.
- Upload your photo, signature, left thumb impression and certificates. Each file should be under 50 KB.
- Pay the exam fee online before the last date. Dont press refresh or back button while payment is going on.
- Check the preview of your form once more and then submit it.
- Download the registration confirmation and take a printout and keep it for later use.

SCL Mohali Recruitment 2026 | Important Instructions
- Please read the official notification fully once, then only fill the form.
- Only Indian citizens can apply. Form is online only, if you send it any other way it will not be considered.
- Dont keep it for the last day. Website gets slow near closing date and SCL will not take responsibility if your payment fails or gets deducted twice.
- Age and qualification is checked as on 30 November 2026. This date will remain same even if they extend the last date.
- Your application is provisional for now. If something you filled is found wrong later, even after selection, candidature can be cancelled.
- If you are already in a Central / State Govt. job, PSU or autonomous body, take permission from your employer before applying. You will need to show the original NOC when you come for skill test or interview.
- Whatever category you choose in the form (SC / ST / OBC NCL / EWS / PwBD / ESM), keep the certificate for it in the given format. No certificate at the time of document verification means your claim is cancelled.
- For the CBT take your admit card, two recent passport size photos and one original photo ID which has your date of birth. Admit card comes on the SCL website only, they will not post it.
- No TA/DA for the CBT. For skill test or interview, outstation candidates get sleeper class train fare or ordinary bus fare.
- Canvassing or pressure of any kind will get you disqualified.
- SCL can increase or decrease the vacancies, or cancel some posts, without telling anyone.
- Any change or corrigendum will come on the SCL website only, so check it time to time.
