Tips for the Exam
- In session 1 there is no negative marking so you should attempt every question without woring .
- In Session 2, 1 mark will be cut for every wrong answer, so answer every question carefully. If you have no idea about any question it is better to leave it than trying hard to attempt. If you can remove one or two options to increase the chances to get the right option than you can try to answer it but still risk is high so deside carefully.
- Maths syllabus is class 10 level but the sums can take some time to solve so I advice you to learn min. tables up to 20, squares up to 30 and the common percentage values like 1/8 = 12.5% and 1/6 = 16.67% which can come handy.
- Reasoning is easy and takes less time if have do some practice, so don’t spend too long on a single question. The time you save can be used for maths and in competitive exams time is every things so try to save it any how.
- General Awareness carries 75 marks same as English, so start it early. Read class 8 to 10 books for history, geography, polity and science, and go through the news and get some important topics of the last one year for current affires.
- For English I adivise you to practice even little every day. One passage, 10 new words and a few error spotting questions are enough for a day.
- Try to solve previous year papers and give full mock tests of 90 minutes in one go so that this will help you get used to the full paper.
- After every mock test check your wrong answers and note down what and why you got them wrong. Most of the time its the same few mistakes so try to solve the problem you are getting.
- I wish you a very good luck for the exam!!!!
